Enamel Pins
for Broadway

Small things you can hold, made from a show's big idea. Pins for Eureka Day, The Outsiders, Shucked and Prayer for the French Republic — designed by me, with the approval of each show's art directors.

A group of enamel pins for Broadway shows on a gray surface — Corn Bred Corn Fed, a thumbs-up speech bubble with a chair, a Tulsa 1967 denim jacket, and an Eiffel Tower — with more pins blurred behind.

Overview

A pin is the whole show in about an inch. Each one takes a single image from the production — a denim jacket, a folding chair, an ear of corn, a tower in Paris — and gives it a shape, a color palette and a line of type that a fan will want to wear.

I designed these pins with the approval of the art directors on each show. The shows' logos and artwork belong to their productions.

The pins

One image,
one inch.

Four shows, four pins — each built around the single image that tells you what the show is about.

The smallest piece in a campaign is often the one people keep.
